Yuksom Dzongri Trek

Yuksom to Dzongri Trek in the the North-East state, of Sikkim is one of the trekkers Hotspot through out the year. This enchanting trek begins from Yuksom West Sikkim at an altitude of 1780m and ends at Dzongri at an altitude of 4,170 meters, which can be accomplished in 8 to 7 days trek. This trek is reccomended for slow trekkers and Childrens above 8 years. The itinirary that we have planned below is suitable for people who want comfort, in short it is itinirary design for people who don't want to rush. Trekking on the basis of below itinirary gives you complete acclimitization as we break the trek for overnight stay at very low altitiude 2,300 meter that prepares your body to cope with the increasing altitude environment accordingly.

If you are thinking of trekking in Sikkim, or trekking, hiking in Yuksom and tasting the beauty of high altitude within limited time in comfortable style then we recommend you Dzongri trek. It is a trekker paradise and probably the only place that offers you the view of almost all the Himalayas. Mt, Khangchendzonga the third highest peak in the world and Mt.Pandim, Rathong, Kabru North, Kabru South, Kokthang, Frey Peak, Jophnu, Tenzing Khang etc, looks heavenly from Dzongri top (Daphla Gang).

Day 1: Pick up from NJP railway station/Bagdoogra Airport To Yuksom

Day 2: Yuksom to Sachen 8km (4 hours 2,250 meters)

Day 3: Sachen to Tshoka 8km (4 hour 2,950 meters)

Day 4: Tshoka to Dzongri 10km (6 hours) (3,900 meters)

Day 5: Dzongri Rest

Day 6: Dzongri to Tshoka (4 hours)

Day 7: Tshoka to Yuksom (5 ½ hours) (Yuksom 1,850 meters)

Day 8: Yuksom to Njp/Bagdogra or other destinations.
